If your question isn't here, it's probably complex enough to deserve a short call.
About RACS
RACS is an accredited Saudi conformity assessment body. We issue product and shipment certificates of conformity, manage SABER and SFDA Ghad registrations, and provide ISO/IEC 17020 Type A inspection services for products entering the Saudi and Gulf markets.
SABER & SASO CoC
SASO is the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization, the national authority responsible for setting and enforcing technical standards in Saudi Arabia.
SFDA: Food & Cosmetics
All food products, beverages, supplements, and cosmetic products imported into Saudi Arabia must be registered on the SFDA Ghad platform before they can be shipped.
G-Mark, SQM & Other Marks
For low-voltage electrical products and toys, typically yes: G-Mark for Gulf-wide conformity, SASO CoC for Saudi-specific customs clearance and labelling.
HS Codes & Categorisation
No. The HS code determines which technical regulation applies and how SABER routes your file. We confirm or correct your HS code as part of intake.
Inspections
It is mandatory for several food categories and high-risk imports. For other categories it's voluntary but strongly recommended, since the cost is a fraction of a port rejection.
Certificates & Validity
PCoC is valid for one year per product family. SCoC is per-shipment only. SQM is a multi-year licence with surveillance. G-Mark is product-type based and remains valid as long as the design is unchanged.
